In the latest masterclass, Danny Fairbrass & Darrel Peck are using the Rt4 Raymarine DragonFly autopilot with great success and had some great catches. In this Masterclass they will explain their tactics about on how to approach a new lake and the benefits by using the RT4 Raymarine DragonFly Autopilot.
It was a sunny day and the carps were showing up, they drove out the RT4 raymarine dragonfly autopilot to get an idea of the Depth, Underwater Structure and Features. By using the raymarine they found some weedy areas in the shallow water and some clear spots in the deeper part of the lake and choose to bait it up to get an idea from this new lake.
Darrel Peck: ‘’ It’s a new lake, you can learn a lot by driving around with the baitboat by using the echosounder to get an idea of the topography and even see the fish on the dragonfly’’.
The fish were showing up in the shallow water at the weedy spots. They changed their tactics and choose to fish the weedy areas with a single massive popup on a spinner rig with a little bit of baiting
